Any words on the issues with Google Sync? Has anybody tested that?
I know there is nothing in the changelog about it, but since they fixed some MfE stuff maybe we are lucky :D

I'm not able to update until after work :_(

So this is "Happy Orthodox New Year!" from Nokia and Maemo team?
Well, thanks. :)

No - and according to comment #91 on https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5357 it won't be fixed until the PR1.2 release.

This is major hassle for me as I can't divert all calls (*21#) and undivert (#21#) and I can't get the various workarounds to work (dbus-send, patnd, ussd-pad).

I'm one of the lucky UK users who can't update yet.

I've backed up my device, anyone see any harm with updating using the flasher and this image?

I can still connect fine, but not load webpages or anything. Anyone else having trouble with protected WLANs in general, or more specifically with these settings?

I don't see anything in the changelog that could justify this...

Did you install vpnc_0.5.8-0m5_armel.deb from Maemo Extras Devel before upgrade over SSU to PR1.1? If yes, plese check this post:

I'm very lucky i have to say...i didn't update to 44-1 when it came out...thought PR1.1 will arrive much later...so i got desperate and thought i missed it and will have to flash via NSU... but i managed still to download the 44-1 update via OTA...i'm downloading it right now...i'm lucky as hell lol..almost got left behind..hopefully the download and update goes well and then i can OTA again to PR1.1..

anyone have a list of updates/fixes ?

I had the same problem, no sign of either update on my UK machine. Then I read (somewhere) that the early UK machines do not contain the requisite software for upgrading.

So .. I backed up then reflashed my device with RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.203.2_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM.bin using the instructions here:

http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_firmware

Now the minor upgrade has completed and I am waiting for PR1.1.

The upgrade page also contains the PR1.1 firmware so I could have flashed that directly but there is no UK variant. Do we just use the Global version or should there be a UK version?

I mean App Manager - > Application Catalogues -> Nokia System Software Updates -> Web Address

Mine is saying "https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/203" and the Distribution is "./"

I would expect that this would be different for you if you were able to update already.

mm no, I'm saying that you can use that image to flash a N900. I have no idea about special images in the uk, since I'm not there.

For diverting calls properly, try call-forwarding-applet for Extras.

after 11am UK time the app manager seems to take ages to check for updates.

I hope this means it's getting put on for us now.
I'd love to be able to use this with my 3 sim today.

The update stalled in one second left notice and has been there now for 20 minutes and still updating... WHAT IS GOING ON - IS THERE A FATAL BUG ON UPDATE PROCESS?

I just wont touch on anything before I get info what to do? Can't call to anyone ;-)

Lovely! It's not often you see such a big jump in speed. Supertux is the best, most addictive game I found in the repos. too :).

Hi, http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo_5/PR1.1 updated with the most common issues on top. Instead of repeating the same answers in the forum please refer to this page to anybody asking about

- Still not available for me (it's a staggered process, just wait)

- Not enough space (uninstall the stuff you probably got from Extras-devel)

- Forced to connect to PC (probably also due to Extras-devel stuff, just backup & flash)

I would have liked that feature too, but unfortunatel it's not supported. Unless I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see how, since it's just absout pressing a button.

I'd pull the cable if it lasts over 15 minutes (on USB2.0!) of the sole reason that a worn down battery is more difficult to recover from.

Ok - so there is no damage done if unpluging usb now? There is a change to reflash it anyway?
