could it be because i have v3.2010.02-8.203.1 which as i believe is global firmware, how do i go about getting the new pr1.2 on there if its not found in nsu when tried and says i need to use that as ota wont work

In kuwait and flashed the middle east vanilla pr 1.2( i think i'm the first) and everything is super and now restoring my applications :-)

i think i'm the first one of everything in this world today ;-)
again remember i'm the first to bring the pr1.2 release news ;-))

UPNP worked also with the older FW.

If I activate the video calling option in the settings there are no changes...how can I start a video call vai gsm or skype??

Nokia uses a CDN (content distribution network) to balance the load; updating such a CDN can take a while - so be patient (once more) it will come...

Funny because I updated to Global thinking pr1.2 will be delayed on Vodafone again. Ohhhhhhh the pain.

i have 43.6mb free root, ive disabled all extras catalogues and delete alot of apps, yet it wont let me install ota?

Im on T-Mobile and I switched to global firmware as well thinking it would be quicker. Still, 24 hrs is not long to wait...

I had the leaked version, now i got from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php the latest global one and flashed the device. Everything works ok, as in lpr1.2. i see CTRL+SHIFT+R STILL WORKS

it just showed up in my app manager although i did have to manually get it to check for updates.

are there any apps that will no longer be needed after this update? i already know catorise will be obsolete.

OTA updates realy?

Has anybody noticed that theover the air updates arent very overthe air any more?
Keeps telling me i have to plug into my computer with nokia software on it.

From what ive read you'll need at least 58mb free for ota to work, have you dissabled all the application catalouges except the nokia ones?

Tried to translate that page from German to Swedish and it all becomes just gibberish. 'Flasher' was translated as the person who shows his naked parts to anyone walking by.

I can't tell the diff, but I imagine it is even stabler than the leaked version.

I would like to know how easy it is to go back to 1.1.1, and if it is difficult, of course I'd love to see HA HA cartoons and people advised that it's too risky to run.

Not sure about the whole flashing thing because i'm a noob, and hoping my vodafone variant won't prevent the pr1.2 from hitting my app manager today....

you may be disappointed if you wait for it. i am with voda and i had to manually reflash just to get pr1.1.1 and i now have the global firmware.
