I just got my N900 and i would like this program.
I also suffer from extreem noobishness.
I can't find the application. I read the post, but i dont know how to install HAM, so what do i do?

During upgrade all original files are restored (including colors). But now you can save color preset which you can load after upgrade.

I cannot install theme customiser.
I downloaded the version from
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...me-customizer/
It states, cannot install, some packets are missing: ttf - droid.

Install the ttf-droid using application manager and then theme customizer from deb you just downloaded.

Yep:
sudo gainroot
cp -rf /opt/theme-customizer/backups/* /

That will also restore the original hildon-homeso you'll lose ability to set shortcut and bookmark sizes.

the color presets works for me :) one thing i wonder is that when i change the backrounds after updating the theme customizer they are changed to the ones in pleego scheme.. and i've been using r-style gray scheme for a couple of updates..

I think the current version is almost promoatable to extras-testing. I only need to fill in the swedish, spanish translations and one line for french translation. Latest .ts files are attached.

hi guys, im having this trouble with Theme Customizer. When i set a picture for the lock screen. The picture would only appear once then its gone. A different background replaces it :S and its this one --->>>http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/21/lockslider.png

What different background replaces it?

Do you have any app installed that does something for the lockscreen? Like maenotify for example?

Also changing theme causes lockscreen image to change along with the new theme.

Next update is still under developement, I decided to rewrite the whole customizing mechanism to get smooth status bar which tells what's going on and when it's finished. I also made all "setting up this and that" strings to translateable.

Will hopefully upload it to repos tomorrow so you language guys can do some more translating :D

One thing just came in to my mind; now that we have a button to restore original theme files, should I remove the auto-restore during uninstallation? That way user would not have to run customizer after upgrade and set custom backgrounds and stuff.

It's not exactly "customize you theme" stuff anymore is it? And if I recall right, there's already app (built in one and some 3rd party aswell) for doing that :)

latest update had killed me!
nothing in 'settings' will open
microb 'page loading bar' is now strange
cant see new sms input box
and my manualy applied font had changed to something with a tiny font

edit: removed app, settings now works, but phone font is still not the one i put in urs/share/fonts
