just a question dude, i do have a sd card but i have neopwn installed on it, can i install nitdroid without erasin neopwn? so i can have 3 OS@ON Y DEVICE? MAEMO,NEOPWN AND NITDROID :p

Can someone tellme one thing? If the NIT its installed on eMMC why when i remove the SD card, they dont work???

hi Mido,

i am now facing big problems when i want to install fresh Nitdroid:(

i used the uninstaller first, then i formatted the mmc card, then i removed the files in home leaving only three which belongs to maemo,
opt, lot+found, user

then after a reboot i installed nitdroid all went well but when i wanted to apply ur patch with tar xvf it gave me error tar stop proceeding and i couldnt figure out why the helll it starts to gave me errors?? before was all well,
so then i thought mayb there is something wrong with my tar function so decided to reflash so i did today and started from scratch,

now i am facing this problem when i do apt-get install nitdroid-installer all goes well,

at the second download line the nitdroid popov one ,
there it stops giving me no explaination than ...FAILURE .Bailing out!

????
what should i do now?

is there something wrong in the repos??

No nitdroid more for me:(:(

i know this is a silly question because i read in other post that the 2g and 3g does not work fine (sometimes works if i remember) i just downloaded and installed nitdroid and everything works really fine but i can not make calls, so the phone calls are not yet possible with nitdroid?

phone calls are not working in the 0.08 version, wait for the new one, wont be long.

does someone have any information when phone calls will work in nitdroid ? and if i do all these steps to install nitdroid without microsd will i be able to update to the new version of nitdroid that will have phone calls easily or i should uninstall then make a whole new procedure ?

Well actually when the Nitdroid team releases 0.0.9? I personally do not care about phone calls but I am really dying for gps since the gps hardware is connected to the telephony hardware and then to the motherboard :(

i have it installed on emmc, but its very slow and doesnt respond nearly as fast as the videos. any clues how to fix? literally takes 2-5 seconds to respond to any screen inputs, and swiping is basically useless. ive even tried oc'ing to 900 mhz (which works ok on maemo on my device) and its still really slow. about half the time typing in a text field, it takes a few seconds for the letters i typed to show up

and yes im certain i installed to emmc, i swapped the card afterwards. i kinda remember it being faster when i first installed it but it may just be my imagination.

playing/streaming music works fine, pages seem to load quickly in the browser (once it recognizes my input), seems like just a UI issue of some sort

once in a great while it works and i get nice scrolling and transitions for a few seconds, but it is rare

i should add that pr 1.3 maemo flies, i dont think theres anything wrong with my emmc

The leafpad /etc/multiboot.d/11* command is opening a blank document.

I am root and I have nitdroid installed but getting the Guru Meditation error.

Need to change

ITEM_DEVICE=${INT_CARD}p5 to ITEM_DEVICE=mmcblk0p5

Anybody?

i recall having this problem because i was hitting 'enter' instead of hitting 'tab' and then selecting the proper file.

the funny thing was that i looked for 'tab' on the keyboard for a good 5 minutes before seeing it on the touchscreen in xterm. doh!

Yes I am usually such a homer but I have had it open by hiting enter before and have just tried Tab but it doesnt do anything.

Hey! IM ON NITDROID right now and was scanning for need for speed asphalt but couldnt find it on market, ive done the market fix already.
What else do i need to do to install NFS asphalt?

OH! one more thing. Default youtube player isnt working and do i need to install flash? How?

AND i cant seem to type numbers using keypad or virtual keypad, whenever i try the browser goes into search

i have a problem..i formatted a 2gb card and got the installer running,after half an hour it says failure bailing out..soooo...i decided to reboot the phone and try again...the phone now switches on to a dual boot menu with just maemo listed,press any key.all that happens when i press a key is the counter restarts at 30 seconds and the phone eventually switches off without booting.
tried it with and without the memory card..
any ideas??

i have had this problem too. there is realy no solution yet other than reflashing your phone

when opened the game after the start signal the screen jumps 90 degrees to right so the accelerometer fix in the patch didnt work for me or i do something wrong or i have to do something else what i dont know yet to get it work!

then i even installed asphalt game and tried with the asphalt sensors patch also but no luck either
the screen still jumps so i gave it up:mad:

did i do something wrong above??

do i need to apply some other changes somewhere???

please let me know what i am doing wrong.:(:(

When I'm up to the part where I have to do
dpkg -i nitdroid-kernel-2.6.28-06_final1_armel.deb
When it's up to the bit that says:
"Creating item file for multiboot"
I get an error saying:
sh: /dev/mmcblk0p2: unknown operand

What does that mean? How can I fix it?

the multiboot doesnt show up when i slide (open) the keyboard
but when i close the keyboard it booted to maemo normally
