No, I don't think so but he has invested before together with others.

Unless you have any new links that I have missed.

Hmm, was it in May 2015 when there were talks about Sailfish running on Yotaphone?

Well, it could be possible, that he saved Jolla once more, but... :D

yes dear yes
but let jolla breathe some fresh air
we all know what happens when blood oxygen level depletes.
so its not the end of the story
the best we can do right now is wait a little and see how jolla acts on their own deadline.

I got my Jolla phone at Jolla Care, using a friend's iPhone 4S in the meantime.

You don't know what you have until it's gone.

"So we went to Atari and said, 'Hey, we've got this amazing thing, even built with some of your parts, and what do you think about funding us? Or we'll give it to you. We just want to do it. Pay our salary, we'll come work for you.' And they said, 'No.' So then we went to Hewlett-Packard, and they said, 'Hey, we don't need you. You haven't got through college yet.'"

Then some Nietzsche:

This one applies, too.

How about this?

Man, that dude's a fountain. Perhaps we may take a little strength from his most famous one:

I would have so loved to have had my tablet already to amuse and befuddle my in-laws this past Thanksgiving or again at Christmas. I'm certainly thankful that I hadn't made a big deal about getting a Linux-based device while they were stuck with the lousy Android stuff . . .

Tell that to someone in a coma or crippled for life after an accident.

Another one I never understood was why a half full cup is supposed to indicate optimism. To me, the cup could be full, but it's only half full. That's a bad thing. Therefore, seeing the cup only half full is a pessimistic view. Similarly, a cup is not empty, it's only half empty. Rejoice!

the kamikaze pilot’s helmet merely helped him complete the trip, not survive it

Oh, come on. :( Kamikaze planes weren't being flown towards undefended ships; they had to fly through massive clouds of anti-aircraft fire to reach their targets. A plane with a pilot that survives all the way to the end is much, much more likely to cause damage than a plane with a dead pilot.

There, I've solved the only mystery in life...
