Yep, working now. Jolla always release stuff with errors. I first jolla. Come then harbour and now this pressrelease. But now they all working. I'm expecting a huge error message at first start up of the phone and after that surf the waves with my jolla.

Well, the OS will be in beta, won't it? Hopefully it's not Google's beta which is the equivalent of "it works on my computer".

Do anyone know what kind of simcard we are talking. Micro seems the obvious choice but is it confirmed?

That would be a jphondleslab if you want it with bigger screen (like nexus 5, sgs3, 4, etc.). They did announce that they were working on another hw release for next year, and of couse they won't tell you the specs now, they will do so soon though :-)

What's trd?

I thought you wanted a disc phone.

I'll agee/disagree regarding resolution depending on how the Jolla phone looks like... I can't be asked to simulate the dpi to figure it out without the device.

You mean like the one in that old CSI episode? :-)

It'd look cool, but there are obvious disdvantages (sunlight, ability to make proper blacks, etc etc). I don't think there is enough tech for that just yet. You could do some real 3D though.

I'm wondering the same thing, but I remember that it took me 5 minutes to get addicted to Harmattan, and these are the same guys who did it, so I expect the same thing.

Harmattan is the same, and it may make sense if you think about holding your phone with either hand. I'm sure you'll be able to customise that, as that was an often sought feature in the N9, which was done by 3rd parties IIRC. I don't use it, so it isn't critical for me but you probably will have it.

ok, I'm with Dave now... where are the video reviews of Jolla? Where are the written ones? Is it such a cool device that nobody cares? :-)

I'm personally a bit concerned about reception capabilities, but only based on one comment... hopefully we see more of that soon-ish.
