Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
@RichardN900 you can also use battery patch
it records 720p well and overclocked to 805mhz |
Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
Repeat after me: do not suggest to use batterypatch.

Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
Hi guys, I just updated to the most recent CSSU (21.2011.38-1maemo1.2) with camera-ui 1.1.29.2+0cssu10. Now there is a problem when trying to take photos or videos; when i try to capture anything it says that the memory is full, and when i try to change the save-path it tells me that the memory is in use... Is this a known issue, and is there a solution for this? Thanks!

this shouldn't happen. And I can not reproduce this. Can you post the output of this command(it reads camera-settings from gconf): gconftool -g /apps/camera/settings/basic-settings/storage-device nicolai |

Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
@marmistrz, I tried that, several times, didnt work... :s
@nicolai. The output is from "gconftool -g /apps/camera/settings/basic-settings/storage-device" is "-1". I dont know what it means, but I hope you do ;) After a Google search on internet I found that it might be a corrupt filesystem, which leads to a read only mode, so i tried to repair the FS with windows, and it helped a bit. When I first started camera-ui after the repair it worked for a second and than it gave the same error again... Thanks :) |
Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
Try this:
gconftool -s /apps/camera/settings/basic-settings/storage-device 0 -t int |
Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
@nicolai
That worked! I can take pictures again! Thanks a lot, I already planned restoring my backups (trough backupmenu). But, just out of curiousity, what exactly did i change with gconftool -s /apps/camera/settings/basic-settings/storage-device 0 -t int, and what are the values -1 and 0? Thanks! :) |
Re: camera-ui2 (now a part of CSSU) (updated 09. May)
0 and 1 are values for external (mmc) and internal storage.
2 is a value which I use for one special case, the user wants to use mmc storage but the mmc is temporarly not available (device connected through USB for example). -1 is invalid for this entry I don't know why it is written. |
