Or do you want a release date when your pre-order will arrive by mail to your doorstep?

Seems like you're quite happy with Nokia the way they've handled the 'release' (or not) of the N900 - good luck in receiving it soon (we can only hope).

Sorry nuknuk, I've read now every single post from you and never commented them. So my comment is now: Stop presenting rumours as facts or something anyone can rely on.

hehe I agree with Att, NukNuk is the only person keeping me sane and entertained :) :)

He was shipping the NukNukN900 - but i hear it's been delayed till after Xmas - Somali Pirates or even pilots intercepted them and are using them to wipe their bums....

Would you prefer it if Nokia released the N900 broken too?

Depends on what you mean by broken. Something that can easily be fixed by a firmware update? Then yes I would have rather had the n900 now and just update it when the firmware fix came.

Re: N900 shipping delayed

WOW. Still no word from anyone about deliveries. Seems like Nokia was still boxing devices to ship, rather than they really were shipping. I deal with freight from Europe and Asia. If the product was expedited- at least one person would have the device now or at least have confirmed shipment information.

Even if Nokia shipped standard air bulk-freight delivery to their sell-in channels, someone would have the product now.

As some of you may know, i now call Nokia Uk 2/3 times a day to berate them on the lack of activity on my order. On my 3rd call today, the information which was consistent with the previous 2 is that the units are here and in stock, they shall be shipped this week.

I told the rep that due to the lies that we were getting from them last week i have resorted to self harming whilst sniffing glue. I asked for help and he hung up.

The robots will take over the lines soon and i think it will all be my fault!

It might be an idea to make them give an announcement to everyone so that we all know where we stand - I hope someone from MPD is there as they really will get to hear what I think of their comms strategy..
