I personally have the feeling that reception in areas with poor GSM/UMTS coverage is better than with N9, but not as good as with the N900.

I don't have any information about LTE as I don't have an LTE contract. The sticker on the box, btw, says:

GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
UMTS: 900/2100 MHz

Is the tablet also made by LG? Watch out, man, reception is really really bad on that HW. Worse than iPhone 4, which is bad enough already.

Interesting thing is that shop.jolla.com _may_ have over 8000 orders, not sure whether all of them were fulfilled or all of them include at least one device. I won't say how I know this, but it does kind of match the 20k figure that they claimed for December, assuming that DNA doesn't go through that channel.

Marc did say they made 80% conversion in preorders, but the number I think it is is converted already... if it fails afterwards is because the client actually cancelled.

Marc have the same umber of the first preorders but he didn't have all the preorders and the longer it takes more and more people looking att other stuff or not buying at all. I think that value decreasing to 60 over all. But I might be wrong.

I find it hard to believe that they produced only 20k, I bet there are more in transit or being manufactured. I still wonder what's up with China, whether they'll get devices as well or not. Oh, and there is Portugal too. They'll need some, not sure how many they ordered though.

I think we need an other half that electrocutes the user if they try to take a video in portrait mode. That will drain the battery but it will raise the bar.
