Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
For all the german speakers out there, here is a review from german tech-site golem.de:
http://www.golem.de/news/jolla-im-te...-103048-7.html All in all they seem to like the phone an sailfish quite a bit :) They also have some Info from "A Jolla Employee" that I haven't seen metioned before: They claim that the phone itself has no NFC chip but Jolla is planning to built a NFC Other Half. |

Basically the image in the people(contacts on N9) appears full screen but darkened much like it would be if it was set as an ambience, it is still distinguishable as the person though. I quite like it. On making a call the text on the screen shows dialling then alerting once the other end is ringing and one they pick up a timer starts. Just above mid screen are three icons Speaker - Dial Pad - Mute A small "cancel" line appears at the bottom of the screen which turns into "end call" when the other party pick up As a phone the Jolla is very good. Reception is great, earpeice speaker is loud and the loud speaker is good too. |

Re: Jolla User Experience Thread
Can I ask a dummy question? How do you install the .rpm file?

@richardyates
I suppose you just press on it the "downloads" screen? Or may be in terminal "zypper install [packagename]"? |
