Was not aware that was in PR1.2
Is that part of the update or a modification?

It's part of update. Shows also missed calls and unread text messages :)

All i can say is that im sorry to all the people who are still on pr1.1.1 for fears the leaked one has too many problems. Well if u read this
http://maemocentral.com/2010/05/06/h...(Maemo+Central)
it is due to memory leaks which have been found... personally id rather be on the leaked firmware as pr1.1.1 had many memory leaks and was constantly rebooting my phone... have not had to do that at all with the leaked pr1.2

I read this - I noticed that kind of memory leak (or close by) in PR1.1.1

I don't think he means the update brings memory leaks. I think the memory leaks have always been there and it just got noticed. So I'm guessing they are trying to fix this. The Pr 1.2 leak probably has memory leaks too.

my extras-devel has stopped working since upgrading to pr1.2. Normally this would be OK for short periods of time, but I'm not able to redownload all of my previously installed apps because a lot of them came from extras-devel. Anyone else have the same problem? It's been non working now for about 5 days.

Can you elaborate on what exactly is failing when you use devel?
