If it is delayed again, I may well adopt a wait and see attitude but not because "whaaa I want my toy", rather delays hint at a larger issue and I would want to see how that shakes out. |
Re: N900 shipping delayed
From what I'm seeing, the only straight company that didn't give faulty dates so far, is Amazon.com:
"Delivery estimate: We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate. We'll notify you via e-mail as soon as we have an estimated delivery date. You can cancel at any time." and that gives me a good feeling about them, that as soon as they give a date it would be exact, because at least they admit that they know how big of a mess Nokia is making, and don't wanna give its customers random dates. |
Re: N900 shipping delayed
The larger issue may be that Nokia has some problems with their cheaper software engineers in Asia?

From the Peter's comments it is apparent that Nokia makes the final decision to release or not to release only a few days before the planned date for the factory to ship the devices. |

1) Released 2) Further delays. Between now and the end of Nov, expect option #1. Starting Dec, expect Option #2 I don't believe they'll "pre-announce" the release date from what it is now, that wouldn't make sense. All minus, and no plus. I wish we had someone inside NewEgg's warehouse |
