i'm sure newegg is all stocked up and i;m sure that they will ship by the 1st or 2nd of Dec, because if we go by prior estimates, newegg stated that they shall ship by 14/11, so i'm sure they all stocked up by now...all they need is nokia to begin selling the phone and get the go ahead from them..

I just sent them an email saying that they could ship mine and I wouldn't tell Nokia. I'll let you guys in on it when I get it. Just keep it quiet....

Reminds me of when they told me "shipping will begin on 11/14", but at least they told you "expected date of shipment" this time.

i'm sure they would have shipped on the 14th if nokia had given them the go-ahead to do so...they are all stocked up..but they cant sell before nokia begins to ship its products..that will make nokia look bad..really bad

I actually just got a call from Discover asking if I would like to let the pending transaction from BestBuy post, my N900 transaction, woot! I ordered in the wee hours of Monday morn this week once I heard they were carrying it. Still shows backordered on their site but perhaps it will ship in the next day or two.

i got 2 orders 1 with play back in oct, and 1 today from nokia online...
Got an confermation email sayin Anticipated Ship Date: 3 to 4 weeks so sayin Estimated delivery date: week commencing 23rd don't mean much!!

the nokia online email always says 3-4 weeks as done since september, but the 23rd date on the site was only added today

I just called the New York store and they said they were expecting it before Thanksgiving but couldn't give any more details. They also are offering to put your name on a list to be called when its available and place a phone order immediately.

The woman said that they already had over 200 names on the list and weren't even getting that many phones in. She then also suggested that if I was expecting to just walk in and buy one that I should put my name on the list...except she just said they wouldn't be getting enough to serve even the people already on the list.

Sounds like a great launch.
