Any ideas?

Second question:

1- Is it safe to install apps from Synaptic? What about the dependencies and packages it says it will upgrade, install and change? No harm on Maemo 5?

Do you mean the menu icon in LXDE? Then see http://wiki.maemo.org/Easy_Debian#LX...enu_Disappears

To the 2nd question: Synaptic only refers to packages installed in the Debian image - it's got nothing to do with packages in Maemo, so it's completely safe! If you screw up, you can just reinstall qole's Debian image and start over. If you've got enough memory in MyDocs, you should perhaps make a backup of the image file there to save the time for downloading again and unpacking qole's image.

Yes, I didn't notice before, but since the update, my LXDE doesn't even show up, it only shows the "Ctrl-back to return to dashboard" text....

qole, no, I put a fresh m5-v3b img again in MyDocs and it does the same, but it's not only the menu, the desktop doesn't start at all, so I can't create a new panel or anything...

The message for the keyboard focus appears, and after it, nothing happens...

The only way to exit this state is to press power and go to phone (I have spanish desktop and CTRL does not work in LXDE), then I can close the Easy Debian window

Anyway, all the other apps works ok

easy-chroot is easy-debian-chroot. it's just abbreviated :)

sorry, actually "Easy Debian" is easy-deb-chroot. Easy Chroot is the more generic package without the included applications.
