Maximize the use? Hm, that's a bit broad of a question..."maximize" depends on a person's usage and needs. Anyway you may want to start here:

If you ask me, for a fresh unit I would:

- Install NITDroid and then Install the Bleeding-Edge wireless drivers (you'd end up having a Nokia N900 that can do multi-booting)
- Download apps (you might want to try out Swappolube)
- Put music and games, or productivity apps
- Set up email and IM (I use my phone to check my corporate email - MS Exchange as well as chat on IM via Microsoft Office Communicator)
- Customize the phone to your delight :)
- Overclock your phone to give it a boost of speed (I have not yet done this yet)

mga dudes and dudettes, pasali :) got mine last February lang, previous iphone user. sobrang convenient ng N900 for the 32gb built-in + memory card slot... without any itunes required to store media. :D

Ask ko lang po, anyone here using the TV-out feature? pag ginagamit ko kasi sa lcd tv ko, sobrang labo ng display.. any way to fix this? :(

hi guyz, just got a hold of my N900 last week and been familiarizing myself with it. former N95 user here and. hopefully i could hang here as often as i i could to get more apps and updates on my mini computer. i don't need to use my laptop at home in checking my office mails. thisis awesome.

I think I already mentioned that in the other forum. :)

SMS - you can receive but not send.
Voice Calls - is working (the service), but the hardware (earpiece/mouth piece) is not
