oh and can one have some way to paste a youtube url into the program and have it grab the matching video? would make this a perfect replacement for uktube ;)

Does anyone know why i wouldn't be able to play any file within mytube? .8 installed and iam able to download clips, but media player can't play them. Even if I hit the play button within mytube, nothing happens. What am I missing? Does mediaplayer play flv. files?

yes, metube is designed to use mplayer, not the built in media player.

just installed latest version today think was 0.0.8. wonderful app! pleasantly surprised that it downloads the flv files to your device for repeat playbacks. been using it for the past 6 hours since lunchtime, works flawless, however, a few requests :p hope i'm not being greedy...

1) how about an option that lets the mytube play all the videos that have been saved? a playlist open would be even better

2) when the end of results for a search is reached, clicking forward does not display anything, took me a few tries to realise that the end of the results have been reached, how about an indicator at the end of the list?

3) something nice, but not absolutely necessary, how about a "status icon" to indicate searching process?

finally many thanks to the developer :) you rock! i love being able to download youtube videos into my n810 and sharing them with my friends when i go out!

Sorry i did not know how to add a feature request on the above link, But my request is:

When i search for any video on youtube.com the results can be classified according to
1. most recent
2. most viewed
3. most commented
4. ratings

CAn you please include this in your search results of mtube.that way we dont need to go on pressing the forward button and can also get the latest videos.

Only mmc2/mtube was read-only.
I had mmc2/map that was consuming most of the space.

Here is what I did:
I copied all data I wanted to a laptop via USB.
I reformatted mmc2 using File Manager. It has been working great since then.

I love this application. I still think the volume setting stay at the last value when we move to the next video, especially when using headphones.

hopefully someone can help me out here. Trying to install python so I can install mytube but can't get python installed, I've tried installing python straight as well as the maemo extras package and can't get either installed. Can someone please point me to a step by step how to on how to install it

edit - so I've installed python 2.5, but when I go to install mytube it says I'm still missing python-gdata, how can I install this?
