My app manager says they're still failing, but the apps are there again and installation works, so theyr'e not down. Maybe its the same for you too.

Still down in the uk. Hope there back up soon, lost all of my apps after doing the 51-1 update, can't get to do anything in the terminal either cus i can't get to the root, just keep asking for a password when i try to sudo gainroot.

Add a mirror repo using the Applications GUI, then you should be able to install what you need.

Repositories are finally back up! I had to refresh them twice before showing up, but now it's all back in business! Go download those apps folks!!!

extras seems to be working but still getting a 404 on extras-devel although I've never gotten into it so I may have it set up wrong (I r total n00b)
