Re: Stop negativity- Most of u here are temporary
I appear to be using the same dictionary as fatalsaint and Texrat. To me the constructive posts about what doesn't work, why and what can be done about it are not whining.
'Whining' is the post that gets titled 'n900 sucks donkey balls' or whatever. 'Whining' is invading every single thread either with your own (irrelevent to the thread) problem or to insult people who a) like the device and b) might be able to help. Actually, Orange Box wasn't whining. He was trolling, pure and simple. I'd embrace any system that could filter out those sorts of posts while keeping the "My n900 won't do X - am I missing something? Has someone found a way to make that work?" posts. As for the Teamaker, I'm afraid I don't think the IR is strong enough. It takes an inordinately long time to boil a cup of water. If anyone knows a way to boost the IR output to boiling point... |

Please ensure the water reaches 102c before adding a teabag for a good cuppa. At this point I think it may be wise to indicate such behaviour could not be responsible for my USB port issue. |

I think that a commented listing would be better than a numerical rating, you damned nerds. Let the two Vulcan mindmeldees, Kathy and Texrat, or someone else, write something human about interesting ongoing threads and headline it Don't Miss or something like that. I would even volunteer myself, but I have to save my energy for sarcasm and negativity.

Re: Stop negativity- Most of u here are temporary
I've already seen this and it has little relation to my idea.
1. It isn't focused on highlighting good interactions in threads. 2. It isn't publicized with a headline near Talk saying something like Don't Miss. And there are doubtless other differences. |
