That's from maemo.org, which is the repo for extras, as it searches for fremantle-1.2 distros, which doesn't exist yet.

Create a new repo for extras but put fremantle for Distribution this time.

I didn't say MeeGo release = a firmware update.

They're serious and work hard on MeeGo release, there's even accurate information on the previous release.

Who doesn't know it's still under testing? It will take a long time if they're planning a major update, perhaps they should make more minor updates to fix some of the bugs that is annoying in PR1.1.1

As for current "unofficial" PR1.2 or RC version, as mentioned in that thread, only the person having that problem, so I'm not sure if it is because of the update.
But I have another problem with this PR1.2:
1. The previous OVI Store and Maemo icon/shortcut (which have frame like Bookmarks, was no longer available; The icons show some green thing, after I remove and re-add them again, it now shows a normal shortcut icon without the frame.
2. Seems there is a bug in the 4th Desktop, after I customize the Desktop, I click "Done", but it didn't return to normal, still in customization mode, when I hit the middle top, it shows the battery, clock, alarm, etc as if it was already in normal mode.
I found a solution for this by swiping to the main desktop, it's still in Customization mode, press the power button once to bring up the menu, cancel it and press "DONE". Now it's ok.

Which firmware do you have? The new one (PR1.2) has it in the options, the older ones have it by ctrl + shift + o (o like an orangatang). The oldest does not have it at all...
