Don't remove UbuntuOne that could be useful. I am using it on my desktop. Would be pretty awesome to have it on the phone too.

You can always install it by typing sudo apt-get install ubuntuone-client-gnome. It just slows down the phone and increases boot time.

insmod tsc2005.ko prescale=1 when adding the module.

How can i unpack ubunturootfs.tar.bz2? I tried Ubuntu virtual CD and win 7. Always get many errors like:

ubunturootfs.tar.bz2: Cannot open ..\gac
System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations\3.5.0.0__31b f3856ad364e35\System.ComponentModel.DataAnnustar (gac\System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations\3.5.0.0 __31bf3856ad364e35\System.ComponentModel.DataAnnot ations.dll --> ..\gac\System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations\3.5.0 .0__31bf3856ad364e35\System.ComponentModel.DataAnn ustar )
! ubunturootfs.tar.bz2: Symbolic link points to missing file

tar -xjvf ubunturootfs.tar.bz2, be sure to have cd'd into the directory you want to unpack to.

Do it as root. If you are using gnome you can start nautilus as root and just drag files into that partititon. or from console cp -rfv <this folder> <targetfolder> or mv -rfv <this folder> <targetfolder>

you can remove "v" flag if you don't want output on the screen.
