That's exactly what you DON'T have to do, dammit. If people was more careful with permissions, minimizing the use of root, etc. you wouldn't have half the problems.

Do not use root unless absolutely required (for desktopgen or apt-get). Exit as soon as possible thereafter.

Also, I'm not getting _any_ useful report at all save for two, three people. And this thread is now redundant thanks to the excellent Wiki page.

First post updated. Please, include the version of your firmware in your game reports, as i'm making this list with a PR1.2 N900, and seems some games do not work (like Brothers In Arms)

Didnt do anything special. I'm running pr1.3 with power kernel, game version 1.1.1. Since it looks like the error you are getting is SDL related you might try installing libsdl-net1.2 since a few games have needed it.

hello there ! nice job ;) one question, does it only work for games ? or may it work with casual apps like facebook (if there is any on the palm pre) ??
and also, i didn't figured out how to make UNO work ...

cant run blades of fury version 1.0.2 with preenv 0.1.1

it gives the following output then quit

PDL: Application asked for device ID, giving 0000

any suggestion on how to make it work?

I cant seem to edit the wiki page, but Angry Birds didn't work for me. Undefined symbol SDL_xxx. I can't remember the exact error, something about accelerometer I think.
