Also get offer from official Nokia repairshop. In Estonia this was the cheapest place to get new display and it was instantly available and along with plastic frame.

Trying to find out what is the catch?

Hmm.. Looking a bit more and found this

Definitely does not sound like a reliable source.

Whats wrong with them? Look very professional for a chinese retail site.
I can't find many comments about them, but nothing bad.

At least with N9, nobody would bother to make fake screens :)
It says "lcd", but that just means the seller doesn't know anything about them. I've seen screens on ebay that look like they were made for chinese N9 look-alikes, but the difference is obvious from the pictures.

I might give them a try, thanks.

Has anyone heard reliably of any fake/substandard N9 screen assemblies on the market?

(Not counting ones for fake 'N9' phones, that are totally different.)
The supply of those amoled panels must be limited.

Second link is expensive. 1st one has mostly good feedback, but lacks the metal frame, like most of them.

Ordering one with the frame will save some trouble.

What is the metal frame you're talking about?

Look at the pics of the screen assemblies for sale.
Most are missing the metal/plastic frame that is glued to the back of the screen, and attaches it to the body.
If so, you need to remove the frame from the old screen (with hairdryer an spatula?)

Be careful, as Chinglish often uses the term "OEM" to mean NOT original. It gets more confusing :

I'm just looking for a seller that sells the OEM screen w/ the frame (that I didn't know about until today thanks myk) and tools.

Automagic,
This screen looks good:

Since you're in the US the screen Myk posted would also be great.
Would you like anything else? :D ;)
Btw you can pop out the screen with a screwdriver and the rest you can take off with your hands. This video will help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9u7r4j0atU
