1. Tech is cheap. Add additional tax.
2. US government spending more than they receive.
3.1+2=right price for tech.

Yeah paying more than 3 times more than in us for gas :D

Guess how much the us destroy the planet with all the cars and almost free gas :(

Europeans might also wanna try to buy tech in Switzerland. It's as cheap or even cheaper than in the US. In case you don't believe me: I'm often over there and always check out these stores, with the conclusion to better buy that stuff back in Switzerland (with a few exceptions). And yes, same things cost a lot in Europe - at least in Germany or Italy I experienced that. So you don't have to travel that far...

Thats because Switzerland isn't part of EU / EU's VAT system.

Expect that price to go up quite a bit once the VAT gets added to the order (sales tax in Switzerland is only 8%, compared ca. 20% in the Union).
