Here's a look at Sailfish development. This Youtube clip from Florian Schweikert was retweeted by thp. It shows Sailfish on large touchscreen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rkmi...ature=youtu.be

Damn! This looks good! Well, it's a Sailfish app with Sailfish SDK tested with HDMI, right? This must be a touch tablet connected to a PC :/

Precisely, from the last slide of the launcher, right?
Edit: Or you do mean from the bottom edge of the screen?

locking with an application open on Harmattan does not take you to homescreen, it unlocks just where you left it.

Hm. I'm curious why Nemo differs then, that'd be a fun bug for someone to play with.

Hi All

As the current SDK sources are x86 based is anyone working on porting Sailfish to N9 or will we need to wait for arm sources or an arm image before it can be done.

Not sure if posted yet; Sailfish demonstrated by Marc Dillon himself:

Did you make any progress? I have exactly the same problem you described: (no ssh mounted inside the emulator).

I'm using the 64 bit version of the SDK on Ubuntu 12.10.
VirtualBox is from standard Ubuntu repository (v. 4.1.18-dfsg-1ubuntu1.1)

EDIT: I checked again the available mountpoints within the emulator. There is no ssh mount point, but there is this:

none on /etc/ssh/authorized_keys type vboxsf (rw,nodev, relatime)

EDIT2: Solved! For me it was the (documented) DNS issue.
Editing as root within the emulator /etc/resolv.conf and adding google DNS did the trick.

It says something about Low Power Screensaver in the SDK?

I will miss that function if not available
