All in due time, I'm sure these will be implemented eventually, but for nice ux some help from Jolla is also needed.

I made some hacking and now I can also receive and send group messages with telepathy. They are just "converted" to normal messages. As a negative side they also show up in the phone book as normal contacts, but it doesn't bother me too much.

This is still far from ready, Android app is needed for sending/receiving pictures etc, but at least I can get reliable notifications of messages.

anything for Harmattan? With Meefox and HeliumReborn it function, but i can't scroll the messages, so i can see only the newest.

I read in the qml code of the messenger app that there's code for group chat so this isn't finished?
