You're better off with a dedicated music player either way. Too bad they don't make the great ones anymore and you have to find them secondhand. Even the refurbished stock has run out...

tbf that's literally all I need, pitch control and A2DP headset support like Rockbox for Maemo has.

No, I doubt it’s closed!

So we haven’t heard from LLtd that they will join MWC at all, under its own flag or tag along with some bigger brand or possibly jolla :eek:.

What we do know. device will be two sim slots with standby. Not sure if it can handle memory cards too and if so what size.

700? They aim for 600! But who knows. Might going for 500 or 900.

Since we don’t no the specs it’s really hard to say something about the price. Or the quality of the QWERTY and device itself. Or if the device exists until it actually will be presented, possibly Q1.

Seems like the phone is ready (hardware wise)
Expect the phone to be revealed very soon.

He use words like seems, and pretty sure so whe just have to wait and see what will happend next few days and weeks. Would be a amazing if chen managed to build a device! would really really impressed.

Would have been wonderfull if Livermorium could also land a deal with Jolla to have Sailfish X on it.

Saddly, it's unliekely to happen. (Though Planet Computers managed to do it for the Gemini PDA).

Hope that there'll be at least some company-backed full blown GNU/Linux available...

Thanks a lot Chen (and team) for the official confirmation that the bootloader will be open, and that you are keen to approach Sailfish OS developers and others (guessing Maemo Leste for instance, hopefully some Debian-based distribution like the Gemini too). This is greatly appreciated and I hope developers will catch the opportunity.

Will it be able to multi-boot, like the Gemini, or will it be like Xperia devices that are either running Android or Sailfish X once unlocked?

Since nothing here is official and chen use the news letter to inform about what he like to inform about I see no reason not to speculate or discuss whatever related to Fx right here.

The important thingy is that we all understand this is a free for all interested to see what’s up with this device/ project or whatever. But no one speaks with any real athority in this thread. As long as we are not tooooooo far of the target. Becouse then I call the po lice.

Chen said that he is not responsible for what is being commented here except from his own messages after there was some speculation in the last pages about what HtheB knew, which is not quite the same as saying that this topic is only speculation. The official channel is not on TMO, of course, but there is still valuable and verified information here since we have the project leader monitoring and participating.
