Nokia 5800. A very nice phone, with great speakers and good long-term support from Nokia. I'm back with Symbian again atm (alongside Maemo) with my shiny new N8. Great smartphone that 'just works'. :)

Apple iPhone 3GS then I got the Samsung Captivate, later got the N900... went back to Captivate.

the fantastic N95!! I know nothing about linux but I love my N900!! the only thing that I miss is the voice calling and the name of the caller spoken to me...tried the espeak caller but it's not good... no matter! I love N900!!

My phone before the n900 was a nokia n82 and i still got it in tip top shape, it was one of the best phone i ever had in the time it came out,then the n900 blow me away with it features and capabilities.

My first Phone was 6600 used almost for 2yrs and was great then HTC P3400 after 4 months changed to N82 and lasted for 3Yrs and now N900 and i hope it will continue till there will be an better replacement

I owned a nokia n82 before the N900. The N82 is a fantastic and wonderfully flexible phone, even today IMO(with the right software). I was actually really looking forward to using it alongside the N900 to fill in the gaps, but the camera got a really bad bug all of a sudden. The camera itself became temperamental so it doesn't always activate regardless of the cover being open. Too bad.
N900 has kept me very content though. |

I just sold a blackberry 9000 , HTC HD2, nokia 5800 nokia 6300, nokia e90 ans samsung FGH380 all in favour of the n900 and so far n900 owns them all. I have to say though that the samsung did have an excellent screen and feel to it and there is something i will miss about it,,,everything else i hrdly used such as e90 and blackberry,,the HD2 was too hard to change the way you wnated and bugged too much :D

don't remember all of my phones (there were some in 14 years...), but I think the following list sums it up pretty well:
some forgotten plastic brick in 1997 - Alcatel One Touch Easy - Sony CMD J5 - some Panasonic whose name I don't remember (was broken too soon) - Siemens M55 - Sony Ericsson W910i - Nokia 5800 XM - Nokia N900 |

Great :) Mostly, previous Nokia users have bought N900.
I had E53, E63, E75 and now N900. Though I am missing front QWERTY in N900. It so much easier with front QWERTY. Nevertheless N900 is best phone I have used ever. :) |

My first, i think, was a Siemens A40
Then i got a SonyEricsson, i don't remember the model, it had a low screen resolution (somthin like 170x60 i think), capable of 8 shades of gray i think Then my first smartphone a Nokia 3650, i had it for quite some time, then the screen glitched and my father had another one laying around and gave it to me. Then i got a N73, black one but with internet edition keys, i jailbroke it and installed lots of **** in it, it had this nasty bug where there was some sort of permanent memory leak, after installing and uninstalling enough programs you run out of memory, and since the RAM is actually more like virtual memory once you run out of disk space you also run out of RAM, so i had to stop trying new progs after a while, luckilly things only started to get real bad after i already had most of the stuff i wanted. I was about to get myself a N78 or N79 when i learned about the coming of the N900, it made me give up on getting one of those and start saving for a N900. Before the N900 i had swore i would never get a mobile with moving parts (slide, flip, twist etc) afraid i would endup wearing down the mechanism or break when it fell, but after learning about the capabilities of the N900 and reading some reviews i changed my mind. |

Used to flash cutom roms onto it every week :) But... it ran Windows mobile... so not very good really... |

Personally, I replaced an N95 with an N97 mini, and S60 5th Ed disillusioned me so much that when it was accidentally destroyed by being run over by a tram I decided that since I didn't like any of the Android hardware solutions and the N8 was still a bit expensive for me, I'd give the N900 a try.
And I'm loving it. |

I had an E51 for about two years, really liked it.
However, last summer my then-girlfriend told me I should get a N900, and a little latter she accidentally poured pineapple juice on my the E51. |
