I've been following this project on and off for a couple of weeks and must say that smoku is a genius. Love the SixAxis app/script.
Is this ready for testing in devel? or is it still a manual install? I am still not confident enough todo that yet. |

Is there anyway of mapping the wiimote buttons to play psx4all? I currently dont have a sixaxis control with me.
FFVII is running great now, very playable, but id like to try it out with a controler, right now a wiimote if possible |

PSX4All 0.3.3 in extras-devel has a not finished, but usable GUI.
It also uses Hildon Animation Actor to scale the display, so it should be faster and have better quality. Do not remove your key configuration (/home/user/.psx4all) as the current version hasn't got key configuration UI yet. ;) |

I think this packages comes with PR1.2 update :)
I think smoku have PR1.2 SDK and this version of psx4maemo created in PR1.2SDK so we need wait some day for PR1.2 firmware update |

So i managed to find a way to install the new release 0.3.3.
I do not recommend it to people who only wants to install it, just to play games, and not to test the software and help developer. The new release has an incomplete gui, sound toggle still dosent work. You can't access the graphics settings either. And it no longer runs in fullscreen. The new release is a step towards a better GUI, but if your only in it for playing games, stick with the earlier release. Also the way i installed this even made me nervous about bricking my device. Anyways, it does seem to maybe run a little smoother, but with out the ability to turn on frameskip and mess with cycle multiplier, i cannot tell for sure. Keep up the nice work Smoku :) The project is going in a nice direction. |

I don't see the program in any of the catalogs. Can someone please help. I used to have it and phone had to be hard reset and now cannot find it in extras/devel and if I do a search its no where to be found.

PSX4All 0.3.4 is in the repo. The UI is in place and works almost fine.
I have one problem though - the UI for mapping keys does not work. http://github.com/smokku/psx4all/blo...c/maemo/keys.c is a direct copy from DrNokSnes and I have no idea why I cannot activate the cellrendererkey cell renderers to edit its value. :( Until it is resolved the keymapping cannot be done. |

Looks great :) will you re-implement turning off frameskip for certain elements (poly, line, etc.)? And Cycle Multiplier? those where great tools for tuning performance of the games :)

Is it just me or do PSX games look like crap? i just played rally cross 2 demo and the game runs perfect apart from the lasttime i played a ps1 was 6 7 years ago maybe more, just cant tell if the graphics are correct or not.

Hmm, that's weird, I uninstalled it this morning and now I updated the repos and I don't see it. EDIT - it does find psx4all through apt-get install though. Weird...
