Wow thanks a lot. I like both of them But I think some combination could even be more awesome:
The arrangement of logo and text like in Morpog versions, but with added shadow on logo like caprico's.
Then I would remove the screenshots and have a more neutral (don't know what color suits best) background but with the highlight as in Morpog version.

Can anyone try this? :)

Awesom I like the second version, I'm not sure yet about the background color? (Sorry I'm a bit picky :P) Maybe something greyish? Or is that too boring?

I like the gray muuuch much better, but I think dark blue fits better :)

luke_dirtwalker, please remove that 'available offline' button inside the playlist :( It's the 4th time that I accidently pressed that button without noticing it :( (when trying to change tracks without looking carefully, like when driving).
I didn't have enough data to restore it when I was driving.. So it was a very very long boring trip... :( Please... just remove that button inside the playlist, since it's already available in the sub menu when holding down on a playlist.

It's just my opinion, but I'd much appreciate if the button stayed where it is.
It is much more convenient to go to an album and check/uncheck its offline status, or to just see the current status this way. Given that offline playlists are the #1 feature of CuteSpot/Spotify, this button is the button I use the most in this app and its removal would be an unwelcomed drawback. I know that you can do it through the context menu, but it's way less user friendly.

Just my 2c :)

EDIT: I have never accidentaly hit that button, but even if I did, there's a remorse timer, so hardly any damage could be done.

Hm I would prefer to leave it as well. I thought the issue is solved by introducing a remorse timer. Well I can add it as a setting, with default on.

Don't stop playing on network changes (DATA CHARGES APPLY!)

Hi, new CuteSpot doesn't work for me it just shutdowns when trying to load playlists. Only first time I could listen songs, now it just crash. Tried to start it from terminal, but it hangs on error message: ChannelError(20, 1, playlist). Installed old one, also it won't work. Terminal gives segmentation fault.

Now I got it working but still get errors in terminal. Hope it keeps working

It keeps crashing but now and then get it working. Don't know, but does these lines mean anything:

[offline-mgr:2082] Storage has been cleaned
[offline-mgr:2030] 0 files are locked, 0 images are locked
[offline-mgr:2056] 0 files unlocked, 0 images unlocked

@kaari: This is probably related to removing playlists. Have you recently removed a playlist?

Especially if you try to remove a playlist from the app itself it will crash.

This is known and it isn't clear yet how to fix this exactly. (except deletion of the cached data)
Yesterday I could just run the app through gdb and then it would work fine.

More helpful would be output when you run the app with --debug option.

Only added playlists this morning, and did it from computer. Now it seems to work again, but if fit fails I'll try with debug. Thanks

I updated to 1.5.6-3 the other day and noticed I can't control playback anymore via bluetooth. Not sure if this changed in this version or one before, but this used to work.

Is this a known issue?

Is it possible to port mixradio to sailfish? Cause I don't want to pay for music. And I don't want to hear advertisements while listening to music streaming

My findings so far:

- you can add plalists to queue, but if you haven't already started to play something else, you cannot start that queue. So there should be a switch in pulley menu to switch to queue (disabled if nothing is in queue).

- when you add something to the queue, it should be added at the bottom of the list instead after the actually position in the queue.

First off, thanks for the awesome application luke :) Great to have a Spotify client on Jolla, and works really smoothly too!

On the queue-function, I totally agree with Morpog. Adding things to the queue was easy, but how to find the current queue? Pressing the play button after adding a couple of songs to the queue just starts to play the current playlist.

Also, after adding some songs to the queue and going to 'Top' (the 'top songs' playlist) cuteSpot crashed for me.
