On Jolla c, when started first time, just crashed. and same thing many times.

On Jolla 1 it showd text updating plugins on the first time, but all others just crashes. So propably something to do with plugins.

Yes, plugins have been updated. If nothing else helps, try killing the app completely (killall harbour-situations2application) and go to /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-situations2application/harbour-situations2application/situations2/ and delete / rename the 'features' folder. Then relaunch the app.

Ok. This seems to be working.

Went to /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-situations2application/harbour-situations2application/situations2/ and renamed the 'features' folder. Then relaunch the app. -> started. But when I went to features, could not download anything.

Then I went to same folder and removed just created features folder and renamed original features folder back.

Then started app and it seems to be working. Seems to have all these features installed.

After installation of new version have the same problem... All Features uninstalled, it have green circle but it not downloadable, when I press on it, nothing happens... This is on my Jolla C, on the tablet all features stayed here...

Hmm, ok. Not sure why that would happen. Maybe some file permission issues - or something.

Anyway, deleting /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-situations2application/harbour-situations2application/situations2/features folder & restarting should help.

Edit: And internet connection needs to be available of course...

Just now tried... Stopped Situations app -> deleted all content of folder "features" -> started Situations app again and tried to download... Same result = not downloadable :(
Checked permission on the folder and files:
1. Folder "features" = 0755 nemo:nemo
2. All files inside = 0644 nemo:nemo

I assume you stopped the background process also.

Did the app show "updating plugins" text in the splash screen after deleting features folder? Is the progress indicator shown at all when you try to download a feature? And could you try what happens with a clean install?

You can make a manual backup of /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-situations2application/ folder. And/or use the export/import option in application settings.

Yep.. After removing app and manually deleting of /home/nemo/.local/share/harbour-situations2application, it started work correctly :)

3.1.146 is now available in Jolla Store.

The UI should feel a bit snappier now. Not much, but at least a bit. :)

Compared to previous store version:
* Support for keyboard navigation in the UI
* Added optional dark theme to settings
* Added multi-selection to Accessory condition
* Fixed URL action
* Fixed internal wakeup timer (for Jolla Tablet, possibly improved on other targets as well)
* General optimizations & fixes for the UI

I have updated through the jolla store to the latest. It seems that some plugins are currently unreachable: I could not download some more addons like 'Bluetooth pro', 'WiFi Pro', 'Command' ... and few others; while I was able to download other functions without issues like 'Display', 'Internet sharing' !?
Are you aware of this?

edit: some precision. There are no error messages but nothing happens when I click on the icon for some addons while it works as expected for others...

Hi,

Have you tried restarting the app (including the background service) - or even the whole device?

Downloading plugins works for me, so it is likely some error in the update process and a restart or manual clean-up of app data should help. I'll try to find out what is causing this.

After rebooting the phone, I still faced the same issue.
I solved it by uninstalling the app, deleting the folder in home/nemo/.local/share/
then I could have everything working again after reinstalling...

if I want to use 'location' as a when
when I select it, nothing happens :o ;-)
I guess there should be a popup with tower cells if I remember how it used to work?

'Location' should show a map view. You are mixing it with 'Network Cells' :) Again, both work on my device (good old Jolla 1 & Tablet). I wonder what is causing all these issues :/

Indeed I was mixing. But I can confirm that pressing on 'location' is not showing any maps. This is using Xperia X, that could be the reason.
For 'network cells', no issues and this is actually what I wanted so I am a satisfied user again :-)

I had also this issue in my Jolla1 with some already previously installed plugins showing not installed / available for download, even after restarting the application (both UI and server processes).

I took a backup of .local/share/harbour-situations2application//harbour-situations2application/situations2/ folder contents and then removed featureindex.json, plugins.json and features/* from the folder, and restarted the app. Now those previously badly behaving plugins could be installed just fine.

I even went as far as taking another backup with all installed plugins showing correct status in settings and testing if reverting back to the original files from the backup brought back the original status (it did), and if restoring from the later "good" backup fixed the issue (it did).

So, if you Heikki want to have a good-bad pair of that folder for comparison, I can provide that by email.

No feedback, so I assumed the update works now & sent latest version to store approval. Also available in the usual location as version 3.1.150. Compared to previous beta, added some initial accessibility support - which probably(?) has no significance on Sailfish at the moment.

I liked the new Situations App on my late Jolla Phone (JP1301). And I like it even more on my SailfishX.
Everything (I need) is working fine.

It just occured to me that I might need another "What": If the device is pocketed or not (proximity sensor covered or not).
What do you think?

On Android the actual activity recognition is provided by Google Play Services. On Sailfish I would need to implement my own engine. A simple one might be doable - but it's not in the plans right now.
