I made some new icons. Hope you guys like them :p
They don't match my wallpaper, but I just made them because someone might like them and have a matching wallpaper. I will try to find a matching wallpaper for tomorrow. :D

just google any HD wallpaper then it will give you many links for a very-very nice wallpaper...downloads any size you wanted (bigger the better) then use any picture tool to crop it to 800x480 to match n900 resolutions....

You do that by installing cssu, QBW has nothing to do with the orientation of your desktop. Find the cssu thread, and there is a guide to install it ;)

he is asking about QBW in potrait mode not the orientation as you mention it...

if you want to make any QBW in potrait mode go to edit mode (tool icon on the bottom left in any widget)....
now on the QBW scroll down until you at...

command title setting....here change the angle to the widget to any angle you desire...
then do the same at...
command result setting....

now scrool down at the bottom you will see...
remember my value....if there a number in it then delete all before you press save & run on thw QBW...

You be trippin' if you tell someone to install CSSU like that without knowing how competent with the phone he is or even if he wants to risk reflashing - i certainly don't.

the commands for QBW to open apps are in the thread 'qbw for noobs', do a search for it and somewhere near the back page is where it is i think. Just put the code into QBW and do what the instructions above say.
You also need to put the icon you want in home/user/.queen_beecon_dir and then 'titlename.png' in 'command title settings'

I think he is talking about hildon-desktop,as far as I know potrait orentation is still not implemented for hildon-desktop in cssu!!!!Am I right????

I developed desktop-widget which allows to create shortcuts to application or bookmarks to web-pages with any images with any size. This is Extshortcut.

As you can see this shortcust has non-standard image and size. (This images is not so good as I can't to draw :)

Extchortcut has version 0.1 and big TODO list.

This is great for people not sure about QBW... very easy to use , I've been playing around with it ;) and some of you guys/girls will luv it.. I do!:D

just been playing around with this, it's brilliant makes making widgets really easy, can't wait to see how this pans out. still in it's basic form it's very useable.

Now that's what i mean, mine is just all over the place. For a Sky+ remote i actually have two separate remotes because from what i can tell you can't scroll.
Did you make that theme or was it built in?

@richwhite. No, I haven't found a way to scroll the remote either, and the theme is a built in one called modern.
@eefo. I can't find the original site I got the commands from, so here is what I wrote down. If you search google for linux date commands, just replace the appropriate parts for more commands. These are the ones I used. I made each one seperately in qbw and changed the size to how I wanted.

Date Commands

date '+%u' = Month (As number)
date '+%a' = Day of week (Abbreviated)
date '+%A' = Day of week (Full)
date "+%b" = Month (Abbreviated)
date "+%B" = Month (Full)
date "+%D" = 06/04/11 (American) Should be 4th of June
date "+%d" = Day of month (Number)
date "+%Y" = Year (Full)
EDIT: I made a few mistakes on some of the outputs, but you get the idea. Commands can be found on any linux command site.
