Andoid doesn't install apps, it just downloads a file and puts it in a folder along with the other executables. No repositories, no dependencies, nothing. That's why it takes 3 seconds.

It maybe wrong, but he has the right methodology. You see he divided the photo resolution with the resolution he assumes letter v has.

He said that V is probably 6px wide on the device but 9px in the photo. Then counting how many times V fits in the screen and multiplying it with 6 he makes a pretty viable estimate for the resolution

Assuming the bezel takes one third of the space between the alu and the icons, it makes something like 721 pixels.

Now anything can happen between this teaser and the device you may have in your hands, but the phone featured in the teaser is definitely 720*1080...
