It was a natural progression.

1) Tons of Lies, Untruths, and Exaggerations
2) Missed deadlines, all of them
3) Total Management ClusterF*ck

Not sure if this information is worth saying, but from what a Newegg rep told me. They're receiving 600-1000 unit for their first batch.

P.S. I'm going to post the same exact thing in another thread, please don't mind me.

Most forums ban you for cross posting. There's a reason for that, it irritates the other members. Why are your posts more important than everyone else's?

MNX1024 2009-11-19 01:56

Re: N900 shipping delayed

Not saying they're more important, just want to spread the news(if you can call it news).

I mean, if anyone doesn't like it, I can remove one of them.

Cocksocket, not a term of Art in the US. I think I may start using it though, seems an appropriate enough description. I kind of agree about your assessment of Mr. Brown.

It is better than the other trash being cross-posted. Especially if there is any truth behind it...I like to think I jumped on the newegg pre-order rather quickly.

I'm not defending anyone here, but most people do not know the context of that statement. The statement "Mission Accomplished" was for the Iraqi Freedom campaign. To which the campaign's mission was accomplished. The speech was in the transition period between the end of the Iraqi Freedom campaign and start the Enduring Freedom Campaign. Unfortunately, most people (especially the media) took this statement as meaning that the whole mission was accomplished (All military campaigns) and assumed that we were pulling out. Honestly, It an easy mistake to make if you were not raised in a military family that educated you on military history.

Anyhow, I did not mean to hijack the thread. I saw an opportunity to provide some history for people who do not know any different.

Oh lord, military families that "educate" on military history. I know one of those, my in laws. A good reason to find an excuse to be buzy on thanksgiving so I donīt need to listen to hogwash on ammo, rounds per minute and endless glorification of the forces.

All those mountain people that know nothing else than behesus, the flag and the army and get their daily "information" from Fox"News".

Ok. Let's zip it on the politics talk. I'm guilty on this but before it degenerates let's get back on topic on where the heck is the N900 already.

Did they say when they will start shipping?

MNX1024 2009-11-19 02:41

Re: N900 shipping delayed

They say they're sticking to the 30th. Also, when I try to ask them if they're going to ship early if they receive their stock early, they kind of dodge my question.

I would just take the shipping information for a grain of salt.

I would just suggest that if people want to know the status on shipping from newegg, it's best to contact them yourselves.

Re: N900 shipping delayed

I'm beginning to think the time travel theory is true. The Easter Egg is a time travel function, just a little longer and they'll have it working correctly. Then each phone can send itself back to October. We just have to be patient. After all, temporal dynamics was a tough course; I could never grok applying the Schroedinger equation to chronitons.

------
Now that I have thought of it, the Easter Egg BETTER be time travel. For me, No TIME TRAVEL = DEAL BREAKER!

The price of the n900 is now over USD$600 at amazon.com, maybe it is almost here.

yeah i think the 'preorder discount' period it over and amazon either has it, or knows when it will arrive.

Why is that such a big deal? Don't we have more important things to worry about than someone multi-posting? Wow, touchy people in here...double-posting people get irritated? They're in the wrong world, if they're so misserable that they get irritated for someone posting things in different places, then they really are wrong in the head...PEOPLE, BE HAPPY!! Don't let little things accelerate your adrenaline...there are far more important things in life than to be so sad and so misserable!

Just my opinion, if someone doesn't like it, D O N T R E A D I T and move along

I saw posts saying people called the Chicago and NYC flagship stores and being told no stock. It seems Amazon, NewEgg and Dell still haven't started shipping...

So "landed" and "available" day +1 = 1 N900 delivered.... a rate of 1 per day so far

Whoever suggested that Peter personally deliver the phones might have gotten their way  :p
