used the coolclock script from qbw wiki then messed around with the fonts (kerater) and size and where to justify, think also enabled wrap :)

the bigcitylife wallpaper i mirrored in paintshop pro so it continues from screen to screen (8 of them) i keep one screen free for trying stuff out then when i'm happy i'll place it in the appropriate screen.

change the flipclock widget font to the one you are having at the moment and then it will be awsome :)

you can't change the font, its a theme, i'm going to leave that for Qosimo, i'm sure he'll add his flip clock icons to this new awesome widget ........

just enter the path usr/share/flipclock/theme i guess , not sure.
but it has been mentioned in that announce thread of flipclock widget.
there are two folders one is for theme .
open the folder and then right click on the theme you are using and click open then in the middle of the page you can find the find name and scale etc , just change the name of the default font to your font .
but only those fonts will work which are in your device :p
i know i dont have to mention this but i and we all know noobs :p



p.s only if you are using winscp to explore your phone :P
and plus that's the first thing i had done when i installed this widget and it worked for me

Looks awesome bigears ;) Mind sharing the command/QBW buffer of that digital clock? Could do it myself but I am lazy :p

Had a reflash(backupmenu failed=>unbootable device :O ) so have an empty desktop for now but I will take this as oppurtunity to make something new :D

Already posted on page 364. The commands are right, but I noted some of the wrong outputs. Anyway, all commands can be found on any linux command site.;)

Preview of my desktop, only one for now still need to design the others :P Took me quite some time to remove the backtrack name of this image... Compare it to the original wallpaper and you will know what I mean. Oh man I love that dragon :p

Yes its crumbled paper, first I tried to find such a background and play with colorbalance and just put the dragon on it, but I couldn't find a satisfactory background to use so I took the challenge :D Result is good enough for me :P

hi i'm onto my next screen and want to do the mediaplayer widgets. i found the codes but would really like the icons that you guys have. where can i find these? personalising the n900 is brilliant and looking back over all the desktops there is some quality designs :)

It's a heavily modified hydro-carbon theme and menu icon is also custom.

Don't suppose you'd like to share the menu icons would you? I'm using Awoken and love the theme but not so crazy about the menu icon, too bulky for my taste.
And if you're feeling generous enough to share it could you also please remind me the location? I haven't changed menu icons in months so i've totally forgotten

Sure. Wasn't sure whether you wanted task launcher or task switcher , so here are both. Location is usr/share/themes/yourtheme/wmTaskLauncherIcon or usr/share/themes/yourtheme/wmTaskSwitcherIcon

You're right, thanks. I've just been rooting through an old custom theme to see what I had setup, it's all escaped me.


Bigears5000, the squares icon is perfect, could you also share the glowing one and what you have for wmTaskSwitcherIconPressed please? I have wmTaskLauncherIcon all sorted

don't worry, done some photoshopping and got it all sorted. It's transparent when it's just on the desktop, different background for the squares when apps are open, and the white background/glow for notifications.
