Re: The new QWERTY device project
That is a grim article.
with grim news. I am sure that decisions such as were made by lenovo came out of the blue and a shock to Chen... and wouldn't be surprised if Chen found out about this decision ...literally "just" before the rest of us.. but ... "Founder Liangchen Chen says he's now looking to produce his own sliding-keyboard smartphone, and that backers who don't take the refund will get an early-bird discount on any eventual phone." which is hopeful . ..it is a wait and see |
Re: The new QWERTY device project
it is what I call the "Hollywood" effect...
If tons of tickets get sold for Rocky I, II, III, naturally Rocky IV will too...and Rocky V, and spinoff films, and tv sitcoms, and "clones" But going out on a limb is gambling... |
Re: The new QWERTY device project
A biological equivalent is mate choice copying.
However I am not convinced that this is really comparable. IMO the problem with the keyboard for Moto Z is not that it is a keyboard but that it is for Moto Z. It's too specific. |
Re: The new QWERTY device project
A faild project only fails if we don’t learn from it. I’m not really sure what’s happend.
I’m sure chen learned plenty and can he convert that to do the impossible and deliver a working QWERTY slider without crowdfunding?? That remains to be seen. I’m still doubtful but I hope for a pleasant surprise l. |
