Finally, seems that a semiofficial date from nokia (Italy) is given (trough the nokiaitaly channel on FB and Twitter): 16/11/2009 !!!

BTW I haven't personally checked those channels: I'm not a FB or Twitter user, and I know almost nothing about them...

Mobile Phones Direct have just told me without question that they will be shipping N900s from their warehouse on 17th.
