Yes I can confirm that - I sent a mail to them, and then forwarded it on again, requesting an answer, and then again, and finally a mail complaining about their lack of response :eek:

Oh FFS, they should send that out to everyone!! I sent them an email via their enquiry form back on Monday I think, maybe even last friday (can't quite remember!) and still haven't heard anything!

I love the veiled suggestion that our constant emails/phone calls are somehow slowing down the process. I mean, they DON'T HAVE the devices, it's not as though our constant badgering is somehow preventing them from stuffing them into packages and sending them off to us. :)

I hope the same mental genious types that control their logistics and uncoordinated sales announcements had nothing to do with the design of the N900:

1. Nov 10th "THE N900 HAS SHIPPED!" fine print = shipping from factory floors, ie the devices could still be in sub assemblies, but they were cleared to ship.

2. NO STATUS CHANGE, but channels and media asserting there was another delay. So, did the product ship when they said on the 10th by boat, or did Nokia screw up with their announcement?

3. Nov 17th N900 IS NOW SHIPPING TO CUSTOMERS IN US! Reality is there is no sign of any product movement and Nokia stores are reported to not have any yet. Depending on who you speak to, some say they do not know and some say the publication was a mistake.

Do you folks appreciate how absurd this is becoming? Nokia supply chain (channel partners too), marketing and sales territories are not on the same page and do not have a clue.

Let us hope some of these folks gene pool are not part of the design team for the N900. ;)

Even the fanboys will have to come to grips with reality when after two weeks, STILL nobody has the N900 except a few commercial samples. At least my Dell deal order is still showing as golden ;)

HAHA its 9:30 in the morning here, and the store don't open till 10:00 am. So i guess to answer ur question (and i speak for everyone in the states) would be NO!

The problem is that nobody knows when "the time" is. Nokia have already made two announcements that could reasonably be interpreted to mean "the time" is "now" but it's still not "the time".

Afaik, NO tracking is provided in Italy.

Just shipping confirmation and charge on the credit cards at the moment.

I told on monday that about 6t of palettes where on the road (13.-17. of nov) from Nokia Romania to locations all over Italy ...

Nokia has a factory in Romania, near Cluj, but as far as I know N900 is not manufactured there. Might have been only forwarding?
Anyhow, Nokia Romania seems to have an estimate date for N900 around mid-December.

My says too not shiped yet...... But i called nokia directly and spoke to them and they reassured me ill have it next week.... Hope itst this next week net the one next year... Well i supose we just ALL gonna have to wait for our shiny new gadget together.

OR other solution ill colect money buy ticket to finland and bring it my self to UK!!!!!!!! :cool::cool::cool:

You finns dont get it. Cooling off may work in cold finland but not the rest of the world. Nokia needs to learn good customer service. To promise to deliver and fail time and again then expect non finns to play cool wont cut it. They need to get serious or be smoked by fierce competitors. Nokia , No Care. Not cool.

Flagship store in London told me on Monday it would be here today or tomorrow. Today the told me next Friday. what a farce!

Just called nokia for fun AGAIN and they said will be here this week and by my special next day delivery i shuld hawe it next week by tuesday!!!!!
