So, almost none of the messages posted in this thread abide by the title of the thread. Moderators are supposedly concerned to keep the titles of the thread accurate. The current thread title is totally inaccurate. So how about a moderator fixing the title of this thread?

Today, May 3rd, should be the release day. I can even wait until tomorrow,bearing in mind that maybe Monday is not a good day.

While waiting and following this thread for so long I've come to accept that there is no idea when PR1.2 will come out.

At first I expected it to be some great update that's going to make things so much nicer. Then I accepted that it's mainly bug fixes and a few nice UI improvements and subtle features (some appreciate the features more than others).

The main thing I'm looking forward to though, is that we might be getting QT applications that are designed for other Nokia phones running Symbian. Am I correct to assume that we'll be getting apps that run on the other phones? If so, that's what I'm really excited for. I'd love to be able to run Gravity like I use to on My N97.

i doubt pr1.2 will be ever released because meego should be released in the second quarter in 2010 which roughly is this month or next month according to the meego website. in the faq section.link below.

Sorry, having trouble keeping track of Laughingstok's sobriety state. We're thinking of installing a breathalizer app on his N900. After that a dynamic feed will keep the title aligned with his condition.

How do you explain then the user manual who can be downloaded from Nokia site. Do you think is normal to present some features who are not available in the final product?
I don't understand why the consumer protection institution doesn't take act of that. Nokia lies his consumers whith N900 user manual from almost a month. This is the last week I will allow this lie. I will annonce the consumer protection institution if the update will not appear. For those who don't understand please read the manual and tell me, for example, how to activate night mode on camera or how to change the video resolution or maybe how to add to my desktop the email widget... and many more...

I'm not sure what a project release mean. Can be somthing nice but also...nothing. LG won't release their planned meego device which is boring since we could have seen a real meego version.

My problem is that the user manual of n900 describes features that are missing in the phone. That's the LIE who bother me! I didn't say that n900 can do this and that... Nokia did! And I, like the final consumer, I read the ****ing manual and learn to use my phone...

Keeping up with the fine tradition that is Nokia's communication. Maybe this doesn't matter that much with Symbian, but they REALLY rely on Maemo's community. How about a little tit for tat, Nokia?

I just wana know what the crack is... or if there is even going to be any crack in the first place... I dont see how Nokia would not release 1.2 and instead wait for meego?

I seriously just wish they would tell us, It sucks having to listen to people bang on about nothing, cuz that's pretty much what every pr1.2 thread is about... No offenese but nobody seems to know whats going on and those that may just get lost in all the garbage so I got no idea what is what :(
