First off much props to the OP

i'm working on my first DIY widget, could I ask what i need to put in the cmd script to change the current beecon Command title image from lets say A.png to B.png???

what i mean is upon clicking the widget, the Command Title image ( background image in my case) changes from A.png to B.png

I spoke directly to this Tuomas guy at the Meego conference and he confirmed the:

Funny that he is trying to explain widgets stuff to one of "kings" of maemo 5 widget maker.

Dear oh my. Just quickly looked trough slides while listening guys and that was basically kids stuff that could have been on couple of slides....like reordering and switcher. Yes it´s good to show them but kids stuff...sigh. New improved things not crippled down approach. Word idiot just comes to my mind. What kind of computer doesn´t have proper customizable desktops (and by this i do not mean graphics)?

Looks like home screen that we have had for years on iPhone and currently in android. Yippie I yaaa. This is really embarrassing. IS this future? Over simplification kills all the branches and uniqueness of whole thing.

Only thing that makes me feel better is that it´s probably possible to add these already invented basic features of smartphone in future.

Sorry for rant this should be probably in meego or different thread. Negativity surely kills creativity but this one really blows..

Just thank you No!No!No!Yes! for doing something really unique and amazing stuff on maemo 5 currently!

there's a web site which tell everdays list of football matches, can i queenbee that with a click-to-refresh function ? (to know the results of the now playing matches)

They talk alot about " User experience " and clutter on the homescreen. !!

What a load of CRAP.. Nokia really didn't realise what they had with Meamo 5 "Unique User experience " Everyone's personal and Unique mobile device...

All I can see coming is another Andriod/iPhone hitting the shops in a few months..

thanks, I;ve actually had a look at that already. My issue is that using that code, the image keeps changing with multiple widget clicks. I need it to just change one time and then remain unchanged, until sent a dbus command by another widget.

EDIT: Hang on, so what i need to do is get widget A to send a dbus command to widget B to echo exit=1 and update the notification its showing accordingly right?? Any hints on what the dbus method i should use?
