Tablet on a desk? Sticky that b#tch!

I have a pad like the one pictured above. Got it at an auto parts store on clearance for $1.75 Its great to use for the N800 on the desk. Kick the stand out, and set it on the pad. You can tap on the screen with full force and the tablet doesnt move. Nice if you find yourself constantly nudging the tablet around while using it. Mine sits to the left of my keyboard and monitor. Pics later. |

I have a friend who used to work at RadioShack where they sold a very similar product (maybe the same thing?). When I'd come into visit him I'd play around with the sticky mat demo unit. I was actually really impressed with how well it held onto things. I think he had one in his car that actually worked pretty well (which is remarkable given the way he drove). I have no idea if RadioShack even still sells them, though.

I had one for a while, to keep things from sliding around on my dashboard. It worked rather well. Never thought about using it on my desk.
