PhoneLink 1.0 and ContactInfos 0.5
 

I'm glad to announce a new version of PhoneLink.
It now uses ContactInfos as a data provider.
ContactInfos can acces your contact data from GPE or Evolution (the default contact management software) It is configured through a control panel applet.
I hope you find it usefull and I'd be glad to receive any feedback here or on the garage projects

They are both available for OS2007 and will be for OS2008 very soon (but what's the hurry ?)

I hope that we'll find other uses for ContactInfos : It can provide every type of contact infos : phone, address, email, web ...

I plan to propose a patch to Maemomapper for getting your contact address on the download route dialog
It could also be used by an email application to get your contact's email ...

I can't seem to install due to lib dependencies to files that I can't either find or install (libnokki and libbluetooth). Too much work LOL.

libbluetooth should be present on your device !
What device and what OS do you have ?

Nope - I get a message that it cannot install.

I'd really like to test tis software but am sorry I can't.

Based on the install rate for the first day of the Official OS2008 Beta release, you may not have many OS2007 users left, Lol.

i get the following error when running contactinfos:

error while loading shared libraries: libhildonwidgets.so.0 cannot open shred object file: No such file or directory

Im running os2008 i guess this is why, any way to fix it or should i wait for the os2008 release (hopefully soon) which hopefully wont need that library?
