Help on a couple of Accessory choices please.

Can anyone suggest tried and tested solutions for a couple of N800 accessories please?

I'm looking for a screen protector that goes on without air bubbles and that isn't sticky/tacky when trying to use stylus on the screen. I bought some unbranded ones from Ebay but they have a few annoying persistent air bubbles underneath and there is a lot of sticky drag when using the stylus (I have put them on correct side up!). Ideally I'd like a smooth, glassy finish for stylussing(?) on.

Also, I am looking for a slim all-enclosing zipped case for the N800. I've seen some Mio ones on Ebay, but they look highly molded and bulky. I read (after search) that someone recommended a DS-Lite case, but this was countered by someone else saying that the N800 doesn't fit in such a case. Any alternative options please? Thanks.

Boxwave Anti-glare. It wont necessarily go on without bubbles, but it's damn easy to get those bubbles out (just push them gently to the edges).

Look into PlayStation Portable cases. They're plentiful and cheap (that's why I use one).

I was given, a few years ago, a bagful (seriously!) of HP cases, for some programming calculator or whatever (a few folks "in the know" spouted off an HP model number, but I just don't remember it). They're made of leather, with magnetic closure, storage for two extra SD cards, and clip to my belt. They may not be the ideal, but they're as close as I've seen (and they were free and already on-hand!). If I remember later on this weekend, I'll snap a pic and post it, so folks can see the case I'm describing (and, no doubt, recognize which model HP whatever used to fit in it ;)).

Hey, Gerald, I clicked on the links as you suggested but the first one went to some blank page with a search box in or something. No screen covers or cases there.

The second link was even worse! It was some sort of tortuous, mindless animation that I couldn't be bothered to watch for more than 5 seconds.
Is it good? Could you precis it for me please?

Anyway thanks for the effort. I really do appreciate it. If you have any more links (preferrably ones that are slightly more helpful) that would be great.

Sorry, nearly forgot, sincere thanks to you other folk who provided helpful suggestions. Cheers.

He's giving you the tools to find the information you need—it's good advice. :)

The first link is a search page that covers all of this website, so you can search for cases and protectors there and gets loads of information (this topic has been covered very extensively in the past). The second link is a bit of a tongue-in-cheek guide to effective posting procedures for new users. Both links are ones you should take to heart. ;)

I use a leather zip case made by Franklin Covey, bought at Target for $6. It's supposed to be used for a notepad, but the N800 fits perfectly w/ a set of earbuds as well. Looks nice and still fits in my pocket.

I also sometimes use a small Samsonite camera bag bought at Walmart for $9, that holds the N800, an iGo folding bt keyboard, the charger and earbuds. For longer trips.

@GA. If by "tongue-in-cheek" you mean condescending, I'm with you all the way.

Helpfulness, positivity, toleration, love, compassion, generosity and understanding those are the things you take to heart, 'effective posting procedures'.... not so much.

It's not his problem if you can't handle a little humor. :)

Hey, if you don't want to take good, helpful advice, then don't, but don't say we didn't try to help you.
