Diablo and Erminig not working
 

Has anyone else had issues with installing Erminig on Diablo? It was working on the 2008 OS RX-44_2008SE_2.2007.51-3, yet when I installed Diablo GPE runs yet no Erminig....everything else I had seems to be working fine...

What kind of issues do you have with Erminig on Diablo?

Any specific error message?

You can try to run Erminig from the command line (open an xterm, and type "erminig" at the prompt), and please report back any error message you may get!

Note that Erminig has been requested at https://wiki.maemo.org/Talk:Diablo:_Missing_Packages even if it is an application that is not in Chinook extras either.

It would be great if the Erminig developers would consider moving their packages to the maemo.org extras infrastructure.

Yes, Erminig will be in the extras repository in not too long: Yerga promised me some help with this! The goal would be to have Erminig in extras for both Chinook and Diablo...

Works for me, I had to apt-get python-gdata, and I think I installed the erminig & pysqlite debs locally after downloading from:
https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_...elease_id=1869

I don't really remember all of what I did (except that I know I didn't do anything redpill), but you might find this thread useful:

@Yerga: thank you very much for your very interesting comments. I will answer them very soon on the tracker!

I may change my release plans, and provide a new release with your comments in mind, instead of adding new features, so that erminig can be pushed to extras...

How you want.

What more time would take would be testing sqlite3 with erminig, in order there isn't problems with it. I think it can work smoothly, but it's necessary to be sure.

Other changes are a little time (aprox. 30 minutes). Tomorrow could be erminig in the extras repository :)

I noticed on erminig 0.30 since my upgrade to Diablo, sometimes when I start it all my Calendars are gon. Poof, disappeared. I have to re-add them all again to sync.

No error output or anything, just like they didn't save when I added them.
