the killer app
Maemo mapper. The Killer App. I took it up north to the redwoods in the car...great directions...
I must say, though, back in 2005 days, HORIZON was the killer app for me. HORIZON. Did anyone but me enjoy that beautiful graphics app??? IT KICKED ***. Blurring of blended hues, magnification...unless you've used it, you haven't a clue- -but if you've got the skills, could you port it for OS2006 anyways? DCarter |

I just took the source and compiled it for the new OS 2006.
Enjoy! |
You. are. a. god.
and I am an agnostic!! Thank you sooooo much--- if you haven't dabbled with horizon, try it. It's combination of color mixing, magnification, blurring, and imaging on top of images is pretty impressive! Again, kudos sir! dcarter |
May I too echo dcarter's thanks. Horizon is one of those apps that made me see my N770 in a completely new light. Too bad development seems to have stalled.
See: http://pippin.gimp.org/horizon/ And, http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/horizon...og?view=markup |

Is it correct that pressing the "home" button closes the program, or am I doing something horrible to Nokillo without realizing it? |
Nope, that's right.

If you don't like it, you can always ditch it: it installs via the Application Manager. |
