its well taken care of for now but I need somewhere more open to code in, it cannot remain on my memory stick forever. theres a lot of work still to do and a lot I still don't know about greater integration that only you guys can help with. attila, yes it is :) |
Re: liqbase :: Development Overview 5!
Hey lcuk, will there be more multitouch?
When I am really bored, I go into liqbase and play with multitouch. I am a sad person, I know... Please use it! |
Re: liqbase :: Development Overview 5!
hy, very good work
lcuk, will the new liqbase support "external" widgets ? what about n800 support ? |
Re: liqbase :: Development Overview 5!
karatchov,
yes, everything in liqbase is modular. every single screen is a plugin, and complete apps can be run either within the overall playground (as I do), or as totally standalone if desired by the developer or end user. so if you only ever use the calendar it should be feasible for you to just install and run that without having to go through everything else. It runs in the XV overlay, so different operating systems have different support for displaying multiple instances, some are better than others. |
Re: liqbase :: Development Overview 5!
Great, I have I plan to write a program for my N800, just waiting to finish the exams ...
If I correctly understood you, I need to write a plugin for liqbase, do I have to use some specific "liqbase API" ? or just use the XV overlay to render and liqbase will support it ? |
Re: liqbase :: Development Overview 5!
karatchov,
there is a library (libliqbase) which myself and a few others are still in the process of building. it contains the classes and api for creating and manipulating liq* objects. As I have just mentioned up there, I will be moving this back into the maemo garage in due time, but for now it is on a subscription only git server, though keesj is tracking and exposing a .git of the dev tarball. I expect to solidify things in the very near future and organise proper packaging and -dev package layouts for developers to work from. liqbase has grown on a memory card on my 810 itself (I have gcc installed there..) and it needs adjusting to fit in with standard debian layouts. its my first ever public open source project and its buggy as hell, but the feeling I set out to achieve is there :) |
