It would be nice if ovi maps would be capable to route turn-by-turn?
Is there any announcement?

No information about this yet. Apparently turn-by-turn with OVI maps would require DRM and N900 doesn't (yet) have this.

DRM = Digital Rights Management?

I thought this is only related to music files. :confused:

Oh no, it can be related to anything. It is just a form of access control, when the supplier of the content keeps the control over how and where it is used :)

Would you mind to change the title of your thread to something like your question is,
"Maemo5 is there a radar like GPS software?", please?
Would make relaxed to browse the forums and hit topics you search for.

Guys if you want to ask a different question (one which is not realy related to what the thread starter asked for), please, dont hijack a thread. Start one of your own and search for your question before that.

OviMaps will be able to do turn by turn but as far as I know not offline. Additional its a paid service.
