The spacebar on the N900 sucked - initially
 

After owning the N900 for two weeks now I'm happy to report that I've got used to the location of the spacebar. It is comfortable to type on the keyboard now with the exception of hitting any key combinations in the top let corner (ie ctrl+1, blue arrow+control).

How about a thread title "N900 Space bar" instead of a name that's going to aggravate people? You're a part of this community, and if you want to help make it better why not start by being someone helpful?

i'd tell you a tip for how to press key combos like blue arrow ctrl but I don't like you. :)

I agree. This forum needs some serious cleaning up. Not to short of a complete wipe and start over. It's gotten out of control and it's almost impossible to find anything useful.

all my emals and user logins have a 1 after .. grrrrrrrrrr

Well, here's a fun tip in an otherwise content free topic :D

I've noticed, but not really been able to pin down exactly when/why, that *sometimes* if an input field is expecting numbers only, you can just use the number/letter keys without doing the blue shift, and it will enter the numbers.

Odd, isn't it? It's almost as if the n900 is doing the right thing for you...

You don't have to press two keys together. For example: first press blue arrow, then any other key. Also try press blue arrow or Ctrl twice.
