n900 gsm/3g problem? i Need some help.!
 

Okay guys i need help, first time ive encounterd an issue with my n900.



Basically the problem is my N900 GSM/3g stoped working (i think). This started happening 2 days ago but now tis gone extreme. 2 days ago my girlfriend called or tryed called but i never got the calls. She said it rang and went to messages so yesterday i checked it out myself and she was right after 2 rings it would go to my messages so i taught reboot would help so i unplugged my battery and tryed. It seemed okay then

Today (one hour ago) my phone compleatly stoped picking upcalls. Somtiems i see the singal and it says t-mobile on 2.5g (wont go to 3g) but i try calling from my home phone and it rings twice and goes to voicemail but nothing shows on the n900.

Some Info.
Got my n900 2nd day after releasing at new york nokia store
Have PR 1.2 for while and had nothing major from testing/devel
It was working fine (untill 2 days ago) i havent droped it or anything since 2 days ago and no water damage at all.
Tryed Reflash and now Reflash and EMMC and still same issue (now even taking longer to pick up signal)

Please if anyone can assit in helping it would be nice.

Edit: I just kept trying to call myself after few tries , it worked 3 times so i went upstaris to restore contacts from backups.. now its not making or recving any calls again.. Please help. !anyone :O

so it seems to be working at certin times which is not majority of the time so its a definite problem.

Get it booked in at your nearest nokia service centre. Look on www.nokia.com for your nearest outlet.

Have you tried reflashing yet?

Yes Reflashing then Reflashing with EMMC the 2nd time. ..

Have you tried a new SIM? If reflashing + new sim doesn't work, I would say you have a hardware problem.

What do you mean? You have bad reception, or good reception but yet it doesn't work?

It actuauly shows T-mobile 2.5g, with the normal 3-4 bars. yet the call doesnt go through....when i call from my home phone it rings i can hear it ring twice then go to voicemail.. normally when the phones off it goes to voicemail without ringing.

well this is a fairly new sim about 4-5 months at most..
