Re: battery drain

Do you use Mail for Exchange? I've had a similar problem with PR1.3, and it seems to have something to do with mails (modest). Now I have disabled automatic mail syncing for Exchange, and so far this problem has not re-appeared!

Re: battery drain

can you load up terminal and type
Code:

top
Then press enter.

If you can put the screenshot (Ctrl+Shift+p -> goes in images/screenshots folder) up here it will help!(Use the volume rocker to zoom in and out if needed)

so i have PR1.3 but i had flashed my phone from the indian update to the global version. any thoughts if that could be a factor( updated to PR1.3 10 days ago and this problem is recent)

thanks.. am going to read all of that and see what can be done
interesting observation though not sure if that could be a problem

changed the sim card to a new one(brothers) as compared to mine which is 4 years old and am attaching the screenshot with 4 apps running in the back ground, seems to have improved slightly

but will follow the thread and try and figure out what needs to be done
as always suggestions are welcome

thanks a lot man

Re: battery drain

good luck :) :)
Post back if it is still odd - there are always some quirky apps that push the processor up - usually resolvable :)

Re: battery drain

well looks like i spoke too soon..
worked for 3 hours before hildon desktop started hogging memory all over again back to same problem so thinking of reflashing the global PR1.3 at night and lets see what tomorrow has in store for us..
thanks
