Meego N900 dual boot, U-boot, no flasher, no patch
 

Hola a todos.

Es mi primer post, y no es en ingles (pero entiendo lo que escriben). Espero su comprensión y poder ayudarles.

He logrado hacer DUAL BOOT entre Meego y Maemo, usando PR1.3 y U-boot PR13, sin flasher y eligiendo el SO (meego o maemo) en el arranque sin necesidad de retirar la microSD (noloboot).

Quizas muchos ya lo hayan logrado, pero para quienes no, creo les puedo ayudar ya que les dare las instrucciones lo mas simple posible para instalar MEEGo en su microSD.

Me costo trabajo y el resultado es satisfactorio. No por el funcionamiento de MEEGo si no por la satisfacción de haberlo logrado. Es por ello que quiero compartirlo.

oye pues me parece bien si lo puedes explicar paso a paso ...yo personalmente te lo agradeceria porque a mi no me sale...

Probably meant that he wasn't satisfied with MeeGo itself, but was satisfied because he was able to boot it.

No me refiero a que Meego sea malo, solo hago referencia a que aun esta en desarrollo y practicamente esta a prueba en el N900. Ademas la forma en que lo instale (en microSD) no es la mejor para correr Meego.

Cabe aclarar que lo hice con una PC con Ubuntu Karmic, sin embargo quienes tenga Windows también se puede (no es mi tema), solo busquen en este mismo foro los pasos iniciales.

Tambien doy por echo que tienen ciertas nociones de linux (ubuntu). Pero no se apuren si no, tal vez los pueda ayudar.

Las idea basicas son las de cualquier otro post, es decir.

Descargar Meego
Descomprimir
Copiar a memoryStick (microSD)

Instalar Uboot (con PR1.3)

y el toque final.... que es lo que a muchos les falta.

Por ello si ya saben el proceso inicial saltense los pasos que crean convenientes en este post...
